WAYSTED: More Dates Announced

WAYSTED, the reunited mid-'80s British heavy metal outfit led by UFO bassist Pete Way (hence the spelling of the group's name),has scheduled the following dates:

Mar. 08 - The Yardbirds Club - Grimsby, UK
Mar. 09 - The Pitz - Milton Keynes, UK
Mar. 19 - King Tuts - Glasgow, UK
Jun. 06 - Firehouse - Southampton, UK
Jun. 07 - Half Brick - Worthing, UK
Jun. 26 - Limelight - Crewe, UK
Sep. 06 - Rock of Ages Festival at The Palace - Tamworth, Midlands, UK

WAYSTED released its latest album, "The Harsh Reality", on October 29, 2007 via U.K.'s Livewire Records. The CD featured the band's "classic" lineup of Pete Way, Fin (vocals),Chris George (guitar) and Paul Haslin (drums).

WAYSTED last year recorded a cover version of AEROSMITH's "Sweet Emotion" for inclusion on the cover-mount CD (featuring a compilation of rock songs from the movies) that was given away for free with Classic Rock magazine.

WAYSTED's "Back from the Dead" CD was issued in 2005 via Majestic Rock Records.
